In
my childhood I read an article in Bangla, a fact from that article kind of
translates 'Other nationals chat while working' and 'Bengalis work while
chatting'. Of course the author meant our over intellect [Bengali:'atlami']
and less course of tangible action. Not your surprise like many of you, I
did also believe in a famous philosophical quote 'What Bengalis think today,
rest of India will think tomorrow'. Is it a true fact still? During my fact
finding and soul searching this is what I ended up with my friend.
Late
90's with some revolutionary internet development a group of talented
Bengalis came up with the idea of Yahoogroups- mailing lists for
Bangladeshies. I was blown away to see how far the results of a
pre-mature communication method like mailing list can go!!!
During
my fact findings stage I have been a member of 30 mailing lists for
over a year, and receiving over 100,000 mails just in year 2003. I had
an eye of investigator, I was observing them from their accomplishment,
uniqueness, activity and value.
So
without further interruption here we present:

You
could take this effort as just another 'package
natok' [drama] from BTV or something new from a JOE-Bengali.

headline from the web.
